Two days ago was my first day of summer classes at UCCS (University of Colorado at Colorado Spring). In an attempt to avoid people in the hallway, I went into a nook with 3 vending machines. Of course the first thing I do is check if anyone left or dropped coins on the floor. I’ve had some great success in the past. Instead of finding coins I found a dented Mountain Dew Amp energy soda can. And of course I took it, put it in my backpack, and saved it for today. And yes, I’m drinking it. A dirty, dented can, found underneath a vending machine, inches away from a tray of rat poison.
